A Theory of Power Wars

چکیده
This paper provides a theory of how the frequency war onset and duration depend on technology endowments when winning induces power shifts but loser is not eliminated. In model, agents take into account only expected consequences current distribution resources, also its future military political power. The key driver turns out to be mismatch between power, such aected by war. Additionally, we show that wars characterized xed endogenous are more frequent shorter than shifts.
